Specializations

After completing comprehensive specialist training in their respective medical fields, the doctors at NeuroCentre Aarau gain many years of clinical experience working as senior physicians and earning additional qualifications. Each colleague has his or her own specific focus, allowing us to offer you a range of specializations in addition to more general neurological and neurosurgical treatments.

Our spectrum of neurology care specifically includes special consultations for multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, headaches and botulinum toxin, as well as intraoperative neuromonitoring.

Neurosurgical procedures are performed to treat brain vascular disorders, brain tumors, trigeminal neuralgia, as well as spinal disorders.

The field of neuropsychology focuses on treating cognitive deficits associated with diagnosed neurological disorders. Depending on the severity and location, epilepsy, acute stroke or a cerebral hemorrhage, inflammatory or brain degradation processes may cause various disorders that can have an impact on a person’s daily life and significantly affect the course of the disease.

We attach great importance to the timely scheduling of appointments – even on the same day in emergencies – and to giving each patient the individual attention they deserve. Our specialists are people who you can trust from the very start and who monitor the treatment process in close consultation with the referring doctor – over years if necessary.
